About Mike Hagan
A Partner Rooted in Experience and Purpose
Mike Hagan spent 30 years in leadership roles that taught him one thing above all: the difference between organizations that grow and those that struggle is rarely a lack of vision. It's a lack of capacity - the people, systems, and resources to turn good priorities into real outcomes.
he founded Community Growth Works to bring that capacity to rural Georgia communities that need it most.

He led technology implementations, managed multi-million dollar budgets, and navigated regulatory and compliance demands that define healthcare administration in rural communities. He completed the Georgia Hospital Association Executive Leadership Program in 2012.
Financial Experience
Mike spent more than a decade in financial services with Capital One and Wachovia building a foundation in strategy, operations, and process management.
Rooted in Rural Georgia

Mike knows what it looks like when a rural organization is running on too little support with too many obligations. He also knows what it looks like when the right resources show up at the right time.
Community Leadership
Mike has been deeply involved in the communities he serves. He chaired the Greater Vidalia Chamber of Commerce board in 2023, serves on the Mercy Ministries board, and is a Ruling Elder at Grace Community Presbyterian Church in Lyons.
Mike started Community Growth Works because he believes rural Georgia families deserve communities that are economically strong and rich with opportunity.
"Rural Georgia is one of the best places in this state to raise a family and build a life. I want to help the leaders who are working every day to keep it that way."
